How do I get access to the New York Times?

Answer

Through the UHV Library subscription to the New York Times Academic Pass program UHV and VC affiliates can have full access to the New York times beyond the allowed 10 articles a month.

To establish your account…

  1. Select the New York Times link from the A-Z List of All Databases from the Library’s home page. Here is a shortcut to the A-Z List
  2. If you are off-campus, you will be required to login through JagSpace or Pirate Portal
  3. At the New York Times account login, select “Create an Account”
  4. Select your user type

After you have created your New York Times account, you no longer need to go through the library’s website to connect. Simply log in at the New York Times on your computer or mobile device.

Your account with the New York Times will last 365 days before requiring renewal. When you need to renew, just go through the library’s website once again.
