Can I donate my books or other material to the library?

Answer

Yes. Donated books will be sorted by topic and then will be given to the librarian who does collection development for that topic. The librarian will then decide whether or not we want to add the book to our collection. It is important to note that the Library reserves the right to refuse a donation if the donor specifies special conditions. Once a gift has been accepted, it becomes the property of the library.

Gifts that are not suited to the library collection, because of age, format, topic, physical condition, or other factors will be either disposed of or passed to other libraries, if appropriate.
